is a business competition platform which aims to foster collaboration between local and global Caribbean diaspora entrepreneurs to develop and expand innovative projects that will generate employment and economic growth
This component identifies and solves constraints to private sector development and growth. This is achieved by supporting the design and implementation of productive development policies, business climate reforms and strengthening public-private dialogue processes and institutions.
Proposals can be made from Government agencies and departments; the OECS Secretariat and CARICOM Secretariat; local Chambers of Commerce or other legally constituted private sector groups; regional organizations (CAIC, CTO, Caribbean Export Development Agency, or similar); universities and research institutions; and Public-Private Dialogue Technical Units (PPD-TU).
