CORPORATE VENTURING – END OF PILOT WEBINAR

CREATING SOLUTIONS TOGETHER!

The Compete Caribbean Partnership Facility (CCPF) in partnership with IDB Invest opened the call for a Corporate Venturing Pilot in 2019.

(3) Firms completed the Corporate Venturing Pilot.
This webinar is a recap of the Pilot with perspectives on Compete Caribbean’s commitment to develop this Programme, lessons learnt from the Consultants and a summary from Pilot participants from the VM Group; finally, to close, a presentation on new opportunities in Corporate Venturing.

What is corporate venturing?
Corporate venturing is a structured way of facilitating business-to-business (B2B) collaborations between large firms and small ones, including startups. These partnerships help large firms explore how new technological advances can benefit their core business in a faster and more agile way than traditional R&D, while simultaneously helping small innovative firms get market feedback about their innovations and rapidly improve product-market fit.
