On August 78, 2025, Kayla Grant assumed the role of Executive Director, succeeding Dr. Sylvia Dohnert, whose visionary leadership has shaped our organization for over twelve transformative years. Dr. Dohnert will continue her impactful work with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), ensuring her expertise and commitment to regional development remain a guiding force for the Caribbean.

Sylvia’s legacy of innovation, and unwavering dedication has established the foundation upon which we will continue to build.

Kayla Grant’s extensive experience, collaborative approach, and deep understanding of regional dynamics ensure that Compete Caribbean will continue to thrive and adapt to meet the Caribbean’s evolving needs.
