Caribbean Technology Extension Service (TES) community on ConnectAmericas.com!

Are you a Caribbean-based firm or professional consultant that provides consulting services to optimize the use of technology in the private sector? Are you interested in serving Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) that have the potential to grow, or expand internationally?

IN THIS COMMUNITY, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO:

• Identify new clients, potential partners, sub-contractors or staff
• Learn about Request For Proposals (RFPs), open calls for grant funding, and purchasing orders from the Caribbean and all over the world.
• Post selling offers describing the products and services you offer
• Post and access information relevant to your industry

WHO IS THIS COMMUNITY FOR?

This community was designed to connect Caribbean-based Technology Service Providers (TSPs) with clients and partners, and spread relevant information about the industry. Caribbean TSPs are experts in diverse domains of technology that provide services such as information technology, digital technology, online marketing, digital payment, operational improvement, vendor sourcing and matching, energy management, R&D services, quality improvement (including certification to standards such as ISO 9000, TS 16949, ISO 13485, ISO/IEC 17025), etc.

WHY TES?

Technology Extension Services (TES) are critical to accelerate digital transformation and improve the competitiveness of our region. TES refers to sponsored consulting services provided directly to SMEs with growth potential to improve their use of technology and increase productivity.

BENEFITS OF THE COMMUNITY

Once the community has a significant number of Caribbean Technology Extension Service Providers, the Inter-American Development Bank, ConnectAmericas.com, and its over 350 local partners (chambers of commerce, trade promotion organizations, industry associations, etc…) will invite potential clients, partners, and investors to join the community and connect with Caribbean TES providers. Moreover, Compete Caribbean will grant access to TES for selected SMEs in a pilot project to be launched in 2020. This database of Caribbean TSPs will be used by the partners to source services expertise in the region as much as possible.
