The DCED Photo Competition on Private Sector Development

The Donor Committee for Enterprise Development (DCED) is a forum for learning, from experience, how to create economic opportunities for the poor. Its website is the leading source of knowledge on these opportunities. The Sustainable Economic Growth Knowledge Network would like to announce: The DCED Photo Competition on Private Sector Development.

If you are interested in having your best photos of a PSD initiative or other economic activity in developing economies featured by the DCED? The DCED is currently revamping its online presence and your photos could soon be part of its leading website Рvisited by more than 60,000 unique users per year Рas well as materials printed for high-profile events and publications. Winning photos will also be displayed at the DCED Global Seminar in Bangkok.

Entries should be submitted to as high-resolution JPEG, GIF or PNG files with a minimum width of 2000px at 300dpi. We may not be able to use photos smaller than this size on our website and in our publications. The file size should not exceed 10MB per photo. Mobile photos at the above resolution are accepted. Please also provide your name, organisation and a short description of the photo(s). The deadline for submissions is 18 February 2015.*

* Entrants give permission for the use of their photographs in DCED publications and promotional materials (printed or web-based), and on the DCED website, provided that all uses are accompanied by appropriate attribution to the photographer. All entries must be the original work of the entrant. Photos may be edited by the DCED. Entrants retain ownership and all other rights to future use of their photographs.
